Lascelles Hall

Lascelles Hall is a district about 2.5 miles east of Huddersfield town centre (3 miles by road) and around a mile south of Kirkheaton.

The area grew as a hamlet of weavers' cottages around the manor house that gave it its name, but has in recent years seen a considerable expansion of housing in the area.

Lascelles Hall is particularly well known for its cricket club, dating from 1825, which takes pride in being the oldest in the Huddersfield area and having spawned many Yorkshire County Cricket Club players over its history.
