Upper Heaton Lane and Bog Green Lane, Upper HeatonUpper Heaton is a hamlet above Kirkheaton and around 3 miles north east of Huddersfield town centre (3.7 miles by road).

Upper Heaton is on the hilltop above the lower Colne Valley and also overlooking the Calder Valley. The hamlet is surrounded by farmland and includes some historic farm buildings. The village of Kirkheaton is about a mile to the south-south-east.
