General Election 2019 December 13, 2019

Following voting in the General Election on Thursday December 12, 2019, Huddersfield Labour and Co-operative MP Barry Sheerman held his seat with a reduced majority, while Conservative gains from Labour in the Colne Valley, Dewsbury and Wakefield constituencies and a Conservative hold in Calder Valley all contributed to the party winning its overall majority in Parliament.
