Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town play at the John Smith's StadiumHuddersfield Town are spending their fifth season in the Championship in the 2023-24 season. Before that they spent two seasons as Yorkshire's only representatives in the Premier League. This season should bring plenty of matches within the Yorkshire region with Hull, Leeds United, Middlesbrough, Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday also in the Championship.

The Terrier's home matches are played at the John Smith's Stadium at Stadium Way, off St Andrew's Road, Huddersfield, a walk of less than a mile from Huddersfield rail and bus stations.

Although a little less successful in their recent visit to football's top division, Town's history shows them to be the first club to win a hat-trick of consecutive titles in League Division 1 when it was football's top league. That was a while ago, back between 1923 and 1926, but it is an achievement only matched since by Arsenal (1932-35), Liverpool (1981-84) and, as the Premier League, Manchester United (1998-2001 and 2006-09).
