May 19, 2024

Huddersfield Giants 10 - Warrington Wolves 46

Huddersfield Giants bowed out of the Rugby League Challenge Cup as they were not given chance to make a recovery after an early onslaught from Warrington Wolves who were 0-18 up in the first 20 minutes of the semi-final at St Helens' Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday (May 19).

Warrington finished off the game as they started leading to a Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves derby game for the final at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday June 8.

Huddersfield reached the semi-final with a 34-6 away win against Catalans Dragons in Perpignan, France.

The Giants did reach the Rugby League Challenge Cup final two years ago, but a win there has eluded the Huddersfield team since their sixth success in the competition 71 years ago in 1953.
