Whilst we do not offer a search engine, we are happy for you to share some of our own bookmarks to help you find key public services. Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust operates hospitals including Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and the Calderdale Royal Hospital, Halifax.

NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board
The NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board represents yet another reorganisation in the delivery of local NHS services. The most recent changes of the last few years have seen a Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group amalgamate into a Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group and now the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board set up under the Government's Health and Care Act 2022. This covers the 2.4 million people living in all five metropolitan districts of the county of West Yorkshire as well as those in the soon-to-be-abolished Craven district of North Yorkshire.

Kirklees Health & Care Partnership
A partnership bringing together the local NHS, other health and care providers, Kirklees Council, Healthwatch, and community and voluntary sector organisations, to arrange and deliver services for 440,000 people living in Kirklees.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Information on the ambulance service, including how to pick the right NHS service when you are feeling unwell.

Public services

Kirklees Council
Operates all metropolitan district authority functions in and around the Huddersfield area, including education, highways, environmental health, libraries, planning, etc. The site also includes Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing.

Kirklees Active Leisure
Details of the Huddersfield Leisure Centre. Kirklees Active Leisure also operates other sports centres across the Kirklees district.

West Yorkshire Combined Authority
Partnership of the five West Yorkshire metropolitan district authorities led by a board chaired by elected mayor Tracy Brabin and made up by councillors elected in Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield plus the chair of the Leeds Enterprise Partnership and a non-voting member from the City of York unitary authority.
