Thunderbridge

ThunderbridgeThunderbridge is a mostly residential hamlet with an inn in a wooded valley about 4.5 miles south east of Huddersfield town centre (6 miles by road).

Thunderbridge is about one mile south west of Kirkburton.

A bridge on the road towards Stocksmoor crosses Shepley Dike, which joins with Carr Dike to become Thunderbridge Dike.

Thunderbridge is variously written as one or two words Thunder Bridge.

The Woodman Inn, a country pub with restaurant and accommodation, is the only outlet in the hamlet.
